Picnic in the Park at Old Fort Harrod
Picnic in the Park is a free live music event held every Friday at noon throughout the summer. Featuring local and regional talent, families are encouraged to pack a picnic and join in the fun under the Osage Orange tree.

Bark in the Park at Old Fort Harrod
Bring the family and your pets for a fun filled day of vendors, animal costume contests and music. This event is a fundraiser for Critters without Litters in Mercer County. It’s free to join the fun under the Osage Orange tree.

MYPATH Yoga Festival
Immerse yourself in yoga, meditation, camping, music,

Fireworks at Anderson Dean
Mercer’s fireworks display is a free community event to celebrate Independence Day. Families gather to watch fireworks, eat from food vendors and enjoy the park. Fireworks start at dark.

Lites over Herrington Lake Fireworks
A fireworks event held over Lake Herrington is fun for all. Also, a lighted boat parade across the water adds to the Fourth of July celebration. The show starts at dark. Free to attend.

Settlement and Raid at Old Fort Harrod
Come and experience a full scale 1770’s re-enactment with settlers, Natives, traders, demonstrators, music, Native attacks on the fort and much more all weekend! Living history at its best.

James Harrod Battle for Kentucky
Enjoy great outdoor theater in the historic amphitheater at Old Fort Harrod State Park. “James Harrod: The Battle for Kentucky” gives visitors a very entertaining and historically correct story of Harrodsburg’s founding days.

Family Reunion Music Festival
The Family Reunion Music Festival is an annual summer gathering to celebrate family with music, camping, food and sunrises on the knob at Terrapin Hills Farm. It is open to the public to attend and is a preview for the Harvest Music Festival.

Pioneer Days Festival
Pioneer Days is an annual free festival on the shaded grounds of Old Fort Harrod State Park. Live entertainment runs the weekend on the main stage with kids games and activities under the Osage Orange tree.

Big Jack Pearson Car Show
The “Big Jack” Pearson Memorial Car Show is
presented by the Central Kentucky Hotrodders during Pioneer Days. All vehicles are welcome, multiple vehicle categories. Drawings for giveaways and so much more.
