The Harrodsburg Historical Society holds their annual Holiday Homes Tour the first weekend in December. This tour promises holiday decor throughout historic homes with significance to Mercer County. See beautiful homes while enjoying history!

Blessing of the Hounds

Join Shaker Village and the Long Run Woodford Hounds fox chasers for this grand, traditional event featuring a blessing of the hounds, riders and the fox, followed by an exhibition of riding and hunting techniques.This event is included with your general admission.

Christmas on Main Street

The annual Harrodsburg Christmas Parade is always held on the first Friday of December at 6:30 pm on Main Street. Kick off the holiday season with a twilight parade that culminates at Old Towne Square where Santa patiently listens to children’s Christmas wishes.

Fort Harrod Holiday Open House

Old Fort Harrod State Park’s annual Holiday Open House invites all to tour the fort the fort decorated with candle lanterns and rustic decorations the pioneers used. See Santa by the fire place in our blockhouse and including cider and cookies. This is a free event.
