Fort Harrod Jazz Festival

The Fort Harrod Jazz and Art Festival is a free two-day event featuring juried artists and live jazz music on the front lawn of historic Old Fort Harrod State Park. Come out and enjoy the music and stay for the the artisan fair. There is something for everyone. 

Big Joe Wilson Truck Pull

The annual Joe Wilson Memorial Truck Pull takes place the second Saturday in September at the Mercer County Fair Grounds. See big trucks from local pullers to national talent. Get excited and cheer on your favorite as their engine revs!

Oktoberfest on Main Street

Central Kentucky’s largest Oktoberfest celebration is right on Main Street.  A weekend of beer, live music and community.  Dress in your best German attire and enjoy brats, pretzels, beer and so much more!

HarvestFest at Shaker Village

Celebrate all things fall and kick off the harvest season with a down-home celebration for the entire family! Take a hayride, paint a pumpkin, climb haystacks, ride a pony and play in the bouncy house.  

MYPATH Yoga Festival

Immerse yourself in yoga, meditation, camping, music,
nature, good food and fellowship at Terrapin Hill Farm. Spend the weekend with people who share your interests, passions, ideals and leave new friends. 

Snuggleween Music Festival

Snuggle under a blanket and listen to live music on the lawn of Terrapin Hills Farm. A wonderful night of music, friends and snuggling on a crisp fall night is a perfect way to spend this year’s snuggleween.

Haunted Frontier at Old Fort Harrod

Old Fort Harrod State Park  holds an annual Haunted Frontier so visitors can experience  the smoky darkness of this historic place. Not recommended for children under 10 or the weak hearted.

City of Burgin Fall Festival

When fall arrives and leaves start showing a hint of color, that means it’s time for Burgin’s Annual Fall Festival. Enjoy music, face painting vendors and a chili dinner all for a canned food donation.  Join the fun!

Night of the Great Pumpkin

Trick or Treat historic Main Street but watch for dancing zombies to perform during the event. Be sure to go through the themed Whitaker Bank as you collect your candy. Halloween is a community event in Mercer County and we celebrate with the passion for children.

Come the weekend of Halloween, if you dare! Your nightmares come alive. Get lost in the dark with the rustling corn and watch around every corner! Children of the Corn, Jason, Freddy, Pin Head and many more may be waiting! Trick or treat with us Halloween weekend.

Spooktacular Parade On Main

Watch for dancing zombies as a parade of decorated horses, vehicles and trailers spook up Main Street. The event hosts animal costume contests, pumpkin carving, painting & scooping contests and ends with a zombie performance. Held annually the Friday before Halloween.
